In memory of our incredibly brave, unique and special Mam who left us on New year's Eve 2008 after a long 6 year fight with Cancer.
We miss her so much. There's a huge hole in our lives which can never be filled. She left 5 children and 8 grandchildren. We are broken-hearted.
Our Mam was the life and soul of the party. She filled every room she entered with her loud chatter and laughter. Her brave battle with her illness inspired everyone she met. She touched the hearts of so many.
I am proud to be her daughter. She lives on in our hearts and our souls. Never to be forgotten.

Hiya Linda, I have never written on here before but have looked a few times. You have a beautiful family who continue to do you proud. I finally finished uni but didn't do anything with my degree but am now settled and married with a baby on the way. A playmate for the gorgeous Grace Linda, a little girl we know you would of absolutely doted on like you did all your other grandchildren. Marie is finally in a much better place and is happier than ever thanks to Mark and the kids. She still misses you like crazy and is starting to look more like you as time goes on, she still uses all ur sayings and often says I wish my mam was here cos she would know. I don't make carrot cake quite as often as I used to but whenever I do I always think of you. A lovely lady with a warm smile, a cheeky laugh and never afraid to say what she thought.

linda you are what the heading says the decision you made on boxing day 2006 must have been so hard to do at such a heart breaking time but because of your generosity you change my sons (chris) life for ever. 4 years after his heart transplant the change in chris is unbelievable chris had a son jan 2010 and he wanted michaels name to live on and named his son kieran michael your never forgotten linda thank you.

Holiday
Just come back from holiday Mam and my first thought was to come over and see you to tell you all about it, show you my photos and bring you stupid presents like I used to. I cried my eyes out when I saw the fridge magnets in the gift shops. It was awful to not be able to come home to you. I loved the way your eyes lit up when I told you about my travels. I always hoped you would go on holiday again coz I know how much you enjoyed it. You were taken from us too soon, too young. Its not fair that you'll never see your grandkids grow up and get married. I miss you soooo much Mam. Noone can replace you. We will all try to be brave but our lives will never be the same.

Such a difficult day Linda ive dreaded it for weeks its hard to celebrate today for our Hayley coz we usually all go out 2nite to celebrate hers and your birthday together. We will come up to visit and bring flowers and probs have a few tears later on miss you loads. Very few people in life leave memories that make us laugh and smile, to us you are one of those. xxxxx
